In order to successfully allow calls when using an Elastix PBX with Gradwell services, you need to ensure that you enable anonymous inbound SIP calls.
We are also aware of an issue where PBX solutions built using Asterisk 1.8.0 to 1.8.2 will not accept incoming calls from our network. This is due to a known bug in these versions which means they are incompatible with the later version of Asterisk that Gradwell uses. Please ensure that the version of Asterisk you use is at least 1.8.3
To do this, navigate to the General Settings menu (found within the PBX Configuration area).
Find the Allow Anonymous Inbound SIP Calls option and set the drop down box to yes.
You should also edit the sip_general_custom.conf file (found in /etc/asterisk/sip_general_custom.conf) and add the following:
Save the file and reload Asterisk (using the command – asterisk –rx ‘reload’).
