Before you use your Gradwell Mobile SIM card you need to activate it. This ensures that your new SIM card can only be used by you.
When you receive your SIM card, place it in your phone (or dongle if it is a data only SIM) and turn it on. Within 60 minutes you should receive a text message containing a PIN code.
Login to your Gradwell account at www.gradwell.com/activate and enter the PIN code in the box provided.
I haven't received an activation SMS
It can take up to one hour for the activation text message to be sent to you. If after this time you still haven't received a text message, please contact our customer services team.
I tried to send the activation SMS, but got an 'insufficient credit' error
You need credit on your account to send the activation SMS. If you need to add additional credit to your account, please visit www.gradwell.com/pay
My PIN code is not being accepted
For security reasons, PIN codes are only valid for 24 hours. If you have waited longer than this to enter your PIN in the control panel you will need to generate a new one. Simply log in to your control panel and click Mobiles in the setup menu. Tick the "To receive a new PIN, tick here" box and then click Save. You should receive a SMS text message with a new PIN code.

Activating a data only SIM
To activate a data only SIM simply place it in a supported device, for example a 3G dongle.
The software installed will usually have an SMS area where received text messages to the SIM can be viewed. You should receive an activation code within an hour which you can enter into your control panel as above.
