If you are experiencing problems with your ProTalk door entry system you may find a factory reset resolves the problem.
Please note that this will remove all configuration changes on the device.
To perform a factory reset, remove the front cover from your ProTalk unit and look for the four DIP switches. These are usually towards the top right hand corner of the unit.
Set the third DIP switch to the off position and restart the unit.
Once the unit has restarted, reset the DIP switch to the on position. It is important to do this, otherwise the unit will reset again upon the next restart.
