The process for transferring a domain away from Gradwell varies depending on the type of domain.
Please note that transferring a domain away will not cancel your web hosting subscription - you will need to do this separately if you no longer require this service. Please read this article for more assistance with this.
If you are transferring a domain ending in .uk (for example, .co.uk or .org.uk) then you will need to know the IPS-TAG of your new provider. Once you have this information please contact our support team to initiate the transfer.
For all other domains you need to know the authorisation key to give to your new provider. To get this log in to your control panel and select Registered Domains from the homepage.
Select your domain from the list and ensure that the field Registrar Lock is set to off. If it isn't click Unset Registrar Lock.
Once the registrar lock is set to off, select Additional Information from the top menu bar.
Make a note of the username and password and then navigate to the OpenSRS management portal and use them to log in.
Select Domain Extras from the top menu. You will see a Domain Auth Code on this page. You will need to provide this to your new domain registrar.
