The first thing you need to do is log in to https://portal.office.com with your Office 365 Username and Password.
When you have entered your credentials you will be taken to the Portal home page which gives you short cuts to download all of the applications available to you:
** Please note that by default you are pre-selecting options to make Bing your default search engine and making MSN your browser homepage. Please de-select these options if you do not wish to have these set before clicking 'Install Now'.
Once you are ready to Install the applications please proceed in clicking Install Now.
By default you will be downloading the 32 bit version of the Office Suite (as recommended by Microsoft themselves) however if you do wish to download and install the 64 bit versions please read the following instructions.
Installing 64 bit office applications
From the main page you want to navigate to the Admin section by clicking the 'Waffle' top left hand corner of the screen and selecting Admin from the tiled list.
This will take you to the Admin homepage where you should select 'Download the latest version of Office' link under the 'setup' heading:
You are then taken to the following page where by you need to select 'Advanced' under the version option. This will then give you a drop down menu where you can change from the recommended 32 bit version to the 64 bit version. You then simply click install and run through the setup wizard.
