Our Hosted Exchange service allows you to grant permission for other users to email on behalf of another person. To do this, login to the control panel and select Exchange from the top menu.
Find the mailbox you wish to allow another user to send on behalf of and then select Permissions from the yellow menu. Once the page has loaded click Send Permissions.
Now click Grant permissions.
You will see a list of all the mailboxes on your Hosted Exchange account. You can grant permission for users to either send as or send on behalf of:
- Send as: that user will be able to send email as if they were the mailbox owner - the outbound email address will display the primary email address of the mailbox user that you are configuring send permission for
- Send on behalf of: that user will be able to send email, but it will be clear that someone else other than the mailbox owner is sending the email, as the outbound email address will say <user granted send on behalf of name> on behalf of <mailbox owner>
